What You’ll Do

• Prepare and cook meals according to daily food service needs
• Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and food preparation instructions
• Maintain food quality, proper presentation, and safe serving standards
• Follow sanitation, health, and safety procedures throughout the shift
• Monitor food storage areas, refrigeration temperatures, and food safety controls
• Clean kitchen equipment, work areas, and food preparation stations
• Handle special meal needs or dietary instructions as directed
• Complete basic kitchen paperwork such as meal counts, temperature logs, and cleaning checklists

What We’re Looking For

• Previous cooking, kitchen, cafeteria, or food service experience preferred
• Able to follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
• Comfortable preparing meals in a fast-paced food service setting
• Able to read and follow recipes, instructions, and daily meal plans
• Strong attention to cleanliness, food quality, and safe food handling
• Able to work around kitchen equipment, cleaning supplies, hot surfaces, and food storage areas
• Dependable attendance and professional work habits
• Food handler certification is a plus if already held
