LINK Staffing is hiring an Electrical Assembler / Control Panel Builder in Sugar Land, TX. This 2nd shift temp-to-hire position pays $26.40/hour and is a strong fit for someone with hands-on electrical assembly experience who can read schematics, wire panels, use meters, and build clean, accurate electrical assemblies.


This role involves skilled electrical assembly work, including control panels, low-voltage wiring, power components, and testing.

What You’ll Do

  • Assemble and wire electrical control panels and related electrical assemblies
  • Install, route, terminate, and test low-voltage wiring
  • Work with PLCs, power components, and electrical/electronic systems
  • Read and follow blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions
  • Use voltmeters, hand tools, and basic power tools during assembly and testing
  • Perform functional testing and visual inspections
  • Check wiring, parts, and finished assemblies for quality and accuracy
  • Report defects, missing parts, incorrect materials, or assembly issues
  • Track production quantities, time, and work progress accurately
  • Keep tools, work area, and equipment clean, organized, and safe

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical assembly, manufacturing, or a related skilled-trade field
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, or technical drawings
  • Working knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems
  • Experience using voltmeters, hand tools, and basic power tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical or assembly issues
  • Strong attention to detail when wiring, labeling, inspecting, and testing
  • Able to stand and walk throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Able to bend, kneel, reach overhead, and work with small components
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable wearing required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear
