Electrical Test Technician – $30/hr – Temp-to-Hire

What You’ll Be Doing
• Perform quality control testing and basic troubleshooting to verify product performance
• Follow approved test procedures, drawings, and work instructions to execute testing accurately
• Complete production line acceptance testing, including insulation and functional testing
• Perform visual inspections to confirm workmanship and quality standards
• Troubleshoot basic test failures, document findings, and communicate results to the team
• Identify and report nonconforming units using established procedures
• Safely handle components, cables, and materials during testing and inspection
• Support limited mechanical/hardware assembly tasks as needed
• Maintain organized work areas in compliance with 6S standards
• Monitor work areas for safety, PPE compliance, and equipment concerns
• Accurately record test results and complete required documentation
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in electrical testing or quality control testing
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
• Hands-on experience using digital multimeters, current clamps, and electrical test equipment
• Experience testing electrical systems in industrial or manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with higher-voltage electrical systems (including 480V+ and three-phase applications)
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
• Willingness to travel up to 5% as needed
Preferred Qualifications
• 2+ years of electrical or quality control testing experience
• Exposure to power electronics, industrial equipment, or manufacturing test environments
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality management systems
