Steady Overtime & Long-Term Opportunity – General Labor
Looking for steady hours, weekly pay, and an opportunity to build industrial experience? LINK Staffing is hiring General Laborers for a busy pipe yard operation in Channelview, TX 77530.
Important: You must be available to rotate between BOTH day and night shifts. English-only and Spanish-only speakers are welcome to apply.
Where You’ll Work
Join a well-established industrial pipe yard in Channelview, TX. This is a hands-on outdoor position where you’ll support daily yard operations, work with basic tools and equipment, and help keep materials and work areas organized.
Job Highlights
- Pay: $13.00 per hour
- Schedule: Full-time | Up to 60 hours per week based on workload
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Schedule Requirement: Must be available to rotate between day and night shifts
- Location: Channelview, TX 77530
- Job Type: Temp-to-hire
- Weekly pay through LINK Staffing

Responsibilities
- Assist with securing trucks, yard racks, and materials
- Use basic hand tools and equipment, including grinders, hammers, and pressure washers
- Move, stage, and organize materials throughout the yard
- Perform general cleaning, sweeping, and housekeeping duties
- Assist different departments with general labor tasks as needed
- Follow all company safety procedures and yard policies
Requirements
- Must be available to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
- High School Diploma or GED required; proof must be provided
- Resume required for consideration
- Must meet background screening requirements
- Must complete a 5-hour safety orientation
- Reliable transportation required
- Must be able to perform repetitive physical work
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in an industrial environment
- Steel-toe boots required
- Previous pipe yard or grinding experience is a plus
- Bilingual is NOT required — English-only or Spanish-only speakers may apply
