Job Description

LINK Staffing has partnered with our client in Dallas (near Desoto) to hire Container Loaders and Unloaders. This company is an established leader in home improvement retail, offering competitive pay and room for growth. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high volume DC, physically loading/unloading containers using advanced conveyor systems and have a reliable work history. Immediate openings are available to start ASAP!

**CLIMATE CONTROLLED DISTRIBUTION CENTER**

Shift Times:

  • Monday - Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM
  • Friday-Saturday- Sunday , 5:00AM - 3:30PM

Pay: $15.00/HR

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently load, using the "wall building method" and unload materials from trucks or containers
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate shipment counts
- Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials and adhere to OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisor to prioritize tasks and meet production goals
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a fast paced distribution center or warehouse environment
- Familiarity with RF scanners for receiving and inventory tracking purposes
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50lbs) and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time (Prolonged Standing, Walking & Bending)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
