LINK Staffing is seeking a Mechanical Assembler with basic CNC familiarity to join a precision manufacturing facility in West Houston. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical assembly skills, hands-on tool experience, and some exposure to CNC or machining environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components using drawings, schematics, and work instructions

• Assist with basic CNC machine operation (loading/unloading parts, monitoring cycles)

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using basic measuring tools

• Use hand and power tools for fitting, fastening, and finishing assemblies

• Support production flow by staging materials and components

• Perform basic troubleshooting and report issues to leads or supervisors

• Maintain an organized, safe, and clean workspace

• Assist with warehouse-related tasks such as material handling and inventory movement

Requirements

• Mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Some familiarity with CNC machines or machining processes

• Ability to read basic technical drawings and work instructions

• Experience using hand and power tools

• Comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing setting

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods

• Basic computer skills

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior warehouse or material handling experience

• Experience in precision manufacturing, aerospace, or automotive environments

• Technical or vocational training in mechanical assembly or manufacturing
