LINK Staffing is hiring a Managed Services Technician for a direct hire opportunity in the Houston, TX 77041 area. This role supports customers through onsite and remote technical support for managed IT services, managed print services, and document management software.
This position requires previous Managed Service Provider experience. Candidates should be comfortable troubleshooting end-user issues, documenting support activity, escalating complex problems, and traveling to client sites around the Greater Houston area when needed.

What You’ll Do
- Provide onsite and remote support for managed IT services, managed print services, and document management software
- Serve as the first point of contact for end-user technical support requests
- Troubleshoot common hardware, software, network, account, and access issues
- Perform basic account setup, configuration, and user support tasks
- Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components
- Document customer interactions, support incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level technical teams when needed
- Communicate issue status clearly with customers and internal team members
- Travel to customer sites around the Greater Houston area for onsite support
Tiered Responsibilities
Tier 1 Support
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide basic technical support
- Follow established procedures for issue resolution
- Support account setup, configuration, and common troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate support records and deliver professional customer service
Tier 2 Support
- Troubleshoot more advanced issues that cannot be resolved at Tier 1
- Investigate complex customer-reported technical problems
- Use knowledge bases, documentation, and internal resources to find solutions
- Collaborate with senior technicians on escalated issues
- Assist with support documentation and training for Tier 1 technicians
Tier 3 Support
- Provide in-depth technical support for complex or critical issues
- Analyze network, software, and hardware problems
- Work with technical teams to identify root causes and develop solutions
- Help improve troubleshooting methods, systems, processes, and infrastructure
- Serve as a subject matter resource for other team members
- Complete onsite visits for challenging technical issues when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous Managed Service Provider experience required
- Experience providing onsite and remote technical support
- Comfortable supporting end users by phone, remote tools, and onsite visits
- Able to troubleshoot hardware, software, network, account, and configuration issues
- Able to document tickets, support steps, and customer communication accurately
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Able to commute to client sites around the Greater Houston area
- Comfortable escalating issues and working with higher-level technical teams
