Maintenance Technician

Location: East Houston, TX
Pay: Starting at $27.75/hr (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Flexible Hours | Overtime, Weekends, Holidays & Night Shift as Needed

LINK Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in East Houston. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience and is flexible with work schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on all plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Make machine adjustments and minor repairs to keep production equipment operating efficiently.
• Maintain accurate preventive maintenance and repair records.
• Recommend equipment repairs or replacements to Plant Management.
• Assist with installing new equipment and support larger capital improvement projects.
• Coordinate and oversee outside contractors performing maintenance work.
• Maintain the plant's fire protection and security systems.
• Order maintenance parts, tools, and shop supplies.
• Ensure customer-owned equipment is properly maintained.
• Keep the maintenance shop clean, organized, and safe.
• Train maintenance personnel on proper repair procedures and safe equipment operation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase production efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with the company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Minimum 3 years of electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical drawings.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
