Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical problems involving production machinery and facility equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
- Inspect equipment and identify worn, damaged, or malfunctioning components
- Repair or replace bearings, belts, chains, motors, pumps, and related parts
- Read equipment manuals, mechanical drawings, and schematics
- Assist with equipment installation, adjustment, and startup
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore operations safely
- Document completed repairs and maintenance activities
- Follow safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements
Requirements
- Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing production equipment
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures
- Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, or fabrication experience is preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work around machinery
- Ability to lift and move tools, parts, and equipment as required
