Step into a full-time Lab Operator role with a respected plastics distribution company in La Porte, TX. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a clean, climate-controlled lab while gaining direct mentorship from an experienced Quality Assurance Consultant. If you’re detail-oriented, proficient in Microsoft Excel, and bilingual in English and Spanish, this position offers a strong entry point into materials testing and quality assurance.
Job Highlights
Pay: $20–$25/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time day shifts
Option 1: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Option 2: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Location: La Porte, TX 77571

Responsibilities
Perform routine lab testing using equipment such as:
Muffle Oven (ash determination)
Analytical Balance
Densimeter/Density Meter
Plastometer (melt flow analysis)
Microscope
Accurately record and report results in Microsoft Excel
Share results via email and WhatsApp (including video calls with QA Consultant)
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment
Use Dropbox and Outlook for documentation and reporting
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (required)
Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency
Comfortable using WhatsApp with video call features
Ability to follow structured testing and documentation procedures
