Looking for a consistent weekday schedule with early hours and a team-focused production environment? A well-established lighting manufacturer in Houston is hiring a Machine Operator – Helper to support box production and packaging operations. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced warehouse setting with dependable hours and weekly pay.
Job Highlights:
Pay: $16/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Location: Houston, TX
Full-time, steady weekday hours
Opportunity to work with a respected production team
Responsibilities:
Operate and support corrugate cutting machine to produce boxes to specification
Enter material specifications into digital interface
Load materials and monitor cutting process
Print on cartons using handheld printer
Assemble and glue created boxes
Inspect finished boxes to ensure quality and accuracy
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Assist with material handling and packaging as needed
Requirements:
1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or machine operation
Ability to read and interpret work orders and measurements
Comfortable using touch-screen interfaces and basic computer systems
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with team lift
Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout shift in a warehouse environment
