Mechanical Assembler
Location: Katy, TX
Pay: $18.50/hour
Schedule: Full-time | Monday through Friday | 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
LINK Staffing is hiring a Mechanical Assembler in Katy, TX for a full-time day shift role. This position is a good fit for someone with hands-on assembly experience who can read blueprints or work orders, use power tools safely, and stay focused on quality throughout the shift.

What You’ll Do
- Assemble products and components using blueprints, work orders, and verbal instructions
- Use drills, saws, impact wrenches, grinders, and other hand and power tools safely
- Move and position materials or finished product using hoists, heavy lifters, or pallet jacks
- Inspect parts and completed assemblies to make sure quality standards are met
- Perform basic checks on tools and equipment before use
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Support production goals by working closely with supervisors and team members
- Follow OSHA guidelines and workplace safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, warehouse assembly, or production work
- Ability to read blueprints, work orders, or assembly instructions
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely
- Ability to move materials and work around lifting equipment
- Good attention to detail and quality
- Reliable attendance and ability to work the full schedule
