This is a second-shift, temp-to-hire opportunity paying $24.00 per hour. Applicants must have recent, hands-on experience operating a press brake or brake press. This is not an entry-level general labor position.

Responsibilities
- Set up or operate press brake equipment to bend and form metal parts according to drawings and work instructions
- Review blueprints, job specifications, and work orders before beginning production
- Verify tooling, machine settings, and material placement before operating the equipment
- Measure completed parts using calipers, micrometers, protractors, and other precision measuring tools
- Inspect parts for correct dimensions, angles, alignment, fit, and overall quality
- Make necessary adjustments and grind, deburr, or finish metal parts when required
- Report machine, material, or quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fabrication work area
Requirements
- Recent, hands-on experience operating a press brake or brake press is required
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, drawings, and technical work instructions
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, protractors, or similar measuring tools
- Ability to inspect parts for dimensions, angles, alignment, fit, and accuracy
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work the complete second-shift schedule
Experience with CNC-controlled press brakes, press brake setup, grinding, deburring, or metal finishing is helpful but not required.
