What You’ll Do
Operate press brake equipment to bend and form metal parts
Read drawings, blueprints, and work instructions before fabrication
Measure, check, and verify parts before and after bending
Use shop tools and measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and protractors
Inspect finished parts for fit, angle, alignment, quality, and accuracy
Grind, finish, or adjust metal parts as needed
Report material, fit-up, machine, or quality issues when they come up
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
What We’re Looking For
Previous press brake, metal fabrication, or sheet metal experience required
Ability to read and follow drawings, blueprints, or technical work instructions
Experience using fabrication machinery, hand tools, and shop tools
Comfortable using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, or protractors
Able to check parts for accuracy, fit, angle, and quality
Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in a fabrication shop environment
Forklift experience is a plus
Welding, grinding, polishing, finishing, or CNC press brake experience is a plus
