A leading pharmaceutical manufacturer is seeking a Sterile Compounding Staff Pharmacist to join its growing compounding team in Stockton, CA. Position Highlights

• Location: Stockton, CA (onsite sterile compounding facility)

• Schedule: Full-time, day shift

• Environment: Modern cleanroom operation compliant with USP <797> Category 3 standards

• Compensation: $160,000–$185,000 annually, based on experience

• Signing Bonus: Up to $10,000 available based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile compounded medications in accordance with USP <797> Category 3 requirements

• Compound large-volume batches (up to 250 vials per batch) with precision and consistency

• Perform and document bubble point integrity testing on filters to ensure sterility assurance

• Maintain detailed and compliant batch production records and logs

• Supervise and train pharmacy technicians in aseptic compounding procedures

• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to address deviations and implement corrective actions

• Uphold environmental monitoring, gowning, and documentation standards in all operations

Qualifications

• Education: PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited institution

• Licensure: Active, unrestricted California pharmacist license

• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of sterile compounding experience; USP <797> Category 3 preferred

• Technical Skills: Proficient with bubble point testing, aseptic technique, and batch documentation

• Other Requirements: Ability to work in a cleanroom environment wearing PPE and stand for long periods
