Are you detail-oriented and take pride in doing things right the first time? A leading cable manufacturing facility in West Houston is looking for a QC Inspector to help ensure the quality of specialized cable systems used in critical onshore and offshore applications. If you're hands-on, experienced with inspection tools, and enjoy working in a technical environment—this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:
Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections on parts and materials
Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
Conduct mechanical and electrical inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other tools
Measure resistance and insulation values using electrical testing devices
Pressure test hoses and hose assemblies
Identify and report nonconforming product and complete inspection documentation
Maintain accurate quality records and testing reports
Use hand tools such as cutters, pliers, and wire strippers as part of inspection tasks
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
At least 6 months of related experience preferred
Comfortable reading technical drawings and quality/safety procedures
Proficient with inspection tools: micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
Fluent in English (reading and speaking)
Able to lift 50 lbs., stand, kneel, or sit for extended periods
