In this hands-on role, you will inspect materials, components, and finished products before they move forward in production. You will use mechanical drawings, precision measuring tools, testing equipment, and written inspection procedures to verify product quality and document results.

Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products
- Read and follow mechanical drawings, work orders, procedures, and inspection forms
- Measure parts using digital calipers, micrometers, thread gages, and related tools
- Perform electrical and pressure testing according to written requirements
- Record inspection and testing results while maintaining accurate traceability documentation
- Identify and report materials, components, or products that do not meet quality standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Quality inspection, manufacturing inspection, or related product-testing experience preferred
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, procedures, work instructions, and inspection forms
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, thread gages, and other precision measuring tools
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to read work instructions and document inspection results in English
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, kneel, reach, and sit for extended periods
