Quality Control Inspector Role with Steady Day Shift & Growth Potential

Job Highlights

• Pay: Starting at $17/hour, with increases based on experience

• Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Location: North Houston area

• Schedule: Consistent weekday hours

• Environment: Manufacturing/production setting with required PPE

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections

• Use precision measuring instruments, gauges, and hand tools

• Verify first article pieces and production documentation

• Ensure proper identification and documentation related to production jobs

• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including waste elimination and cycle time reduction

• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow all safety standards and procedures

• Meet attendance and punctuality requirements to support production goals

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment (preferred)

• Ability to read, write, and speak English

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly and up to 100 lbs with assistance

• Ability to stand for extended periods (8–12 hours per day)

• Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe footwear
